Analysis:
The ad is based on the imagery of the Giulia and Stelvio models. In addition, the song playing in the background is directly related to the image. The lyrics of the song are as follows:
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you
And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you
No, I don't wanna fall in love
No, I don't wanna fall in love
I never dreamed that I would meet someone like you
I never dreamed that I would lose someone like you
No, I don't want to fall in love
No, I don't want to fall in love
The ad starts with the caption 2 cars 1 race track. The camera enters the scene from between the cars. In the 4th second, in the drone shot above, the Giulia model on the right moves in front of the Stelvio. Then the image changes and the cars change places. In the next section, Giulia moves backward and the Stelvio moves head-to-head. Then the vehicles move side by side with dynamic shots. Giulia model in 32 seconds
Stelvio circles around the model and chases it. The last scene is completed by the side-by-side movement of cars. This part can be analyzed in 2 ways based on the general meaning. In version 1, they see each other for the first time, and in version 2, they know each other and see each other again. The ending is the same in both versions. This picture, which is figurative, can be described as a reflection of human feelings in cars.
Note:
The models Giulia and Stelvio are cars manufactured by the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo and are not personal names.
Giulia is a model name in the history of Alfa Romeo. First introduced in 1962, the Giulia is one of the company's most popular and successful models. Today, Alfa Romeo uses the Giulia name for its model in the luxury sedan class.
